Having now read the entire first trilogy (naughty me)...I am pondering how the Griffin and Sabine books would work as audiobooks. At least one of them has been made into an audiobook, according to the library catalog...and I just don't see that working at all. I really don't care for audiobooks of typical books, but how do you make something so very visual into only audio? I suppose it would work if you had two narrators, one reading Sabine's letters and one Griffin's, but...even though I didn't pour over the artwork (going to have another go-round and will do so while I wait to get my hands on Gryphon), I did see how it was a key element to the story. And I really enjoyed opening up the little envelopes (sooo glad no asswipes had taken any of the letters, which would have been so easy to do). So...yeah. That, and they are such quick reads, I don't see how audiobooks would make it any easier on the brain.
