True, it's not exactly a name. It's a shortened version of the name my birthname is derived from. But I've been rolling it around in my head and I really love how it sounds.
Would I ever make it my name legally? Hmm, that's still up in the air. But...I might start asking people on campus to call me it next semester. I won't expect Bri or any of you people to call me it *unless you want to*. It' just something to make me feel good about me. For a long time now, my birth name hasn't felt right. And this feels so, so right.
