axesladeETA: Just talked to the hall director. Apparently the RA who made the comment already came in and talked to her, feeling bad.
I'm supposed to be getting a letter from said RA shortly. I showed the director the TransAction stuff, and shewas actually really enthused-she wants to use it in a diversity thing they're doing next month, and in RA training, etc. and wants me to show her anything else I have. I'm still about to cry, but relief crying ^_^
So...I've decided that when I talk to my Hall Director (if she's ever around)...instead of saying I'm genderqueer since that term might be too abstract (even though I'll have papers there to show what it means)....I'll say I'm trans.
FTM (female to male): Used to identity a person who was assigned a female at birth, and who identified as male, lives as a man, or identifies as masculine
Yeah. I'm sure that won't go over any better, but it might get a point across.
