*sigh*I'm still going to go ahead and schedule an appointment with the counseling center here, just to have a place to start. It might make it easier once I find a therapist in NY, I might be able to have only a few sessions in NY if I can get the equiv. of three months of counseling here. Or not, but since the counseling here is free, I might as well give it a shot.
