Via Bi-Furious, the 'options' of a poll on the existance of bisexuality.

-”Not a chance, it’s a stop on the way to homoville;” “Sure, I’m a little Anne Heche. I’ve experimented with both sexes;” and “Angelina Jolie dabbled with a woman and found her way to Brad Pitt. Works for me.” So “No,” and two options for bi-curious girls.

*headdesk*

I have, in a sense, discarded the bisexual label (in favor of 'queer', which I think carries a lot of the same...whatever, I lack words at 7 in the morning), and some might take that as a 'stop on the way to homoville', but...gah. Will attempt to write more when I'm actually awake.

EDIT: I'm not really more awake, but I figured before I tried to work on my Lit paper, I'd do this.

I think queer is more of a loaded word than bi. People have some concept (even if they don't believe in it) of bisexuality. Queer...it confuses people.

In truth, I had never compeltely i.d.'d as bi. I always said 'well, if people ask I say bi-because it's easier to explain than pan'. Because it's true, I've always i.d.'d more as pansexual (and still do). Pan is kind of a broadening of the bisexual term. So...queer pansexual boi, really, is as close as I can get with the English language.

I could write about this all day, but Lit paper is mocking me.
