I thought this place was an empire

Due to a very upleasant reminder of things, items have now been stowed away. Kind of. Being as it was very impromptu, I just threw it all into two bags and set them behind my armchair. I'm now down to less than 30 CD's (not counting mix ones, as I didn't want them to get scratched) that I can listen to. If you know me, you know that's a small slice of my collection. A good dozen books and movies also got tossed in there. Seeing all that empty sent me into...not quite a panic attack, but...I think Angie Bowie said it best, it felt like all my nerves were on the outside. Tried a million things (chocolate, Greg The Bunny, Sims) to make it stop. I think I'm finally going to try sleep.
