Damn Grey's Anatomy. And not just for the absolute crap coupling of Izzie/George and making Burke leave.

Now, I wasn't paying much attention due to the fact I was doing my math homework. But bascially, this kid was acting strange. His parents thought he was on drugs. He ends up talking about throwing pancakes in the river, when he meant to say he wanted to go home. Turns out, he had hydrocephalus.

Now, who else do we know who has that? <_< His kind was different, the kind that develops over the course of your life. But, ha, I'm kind of that way now. While my head was drained, hydro. keeps going. There's still fluid in there that keeps building. There is a great possibility that as I go along in life, I will get worse. Could I reach that point where I need a shunt? I'd post this at the hydro. support group, but I'm really worried that I just got worked up over nothing. So I post here.

So you'll be ok or not? I know, stupid question, but I suppose I never actually thought about the possibility of you still being in danger. :(

Not a stupid question. Um. According to my mother, odds are with me. It doesn't feel that way. While I'm defintitely not to the not being able to control my motor proceses stage, it feelsl like my headaches have been getting worse. *shrug*I could just be paranoid. I don't know. I fully intend to see a neurologist when I'm 20ish and asking. I don't know of any other cases where hydro. was treated as mine was, so it makes things a bit...*sigh*

According to my mother, odds are with me Sorry, I'm still not clear. Odds are what? Can't you see a neurologist sooner??

Going to a neuro. requires money, as we don't have insurance. So it will have to wait until I'm on my own, sadly. It cost us $100 to go to the doctor when I had that oral infection this summer *sigh*

The odds are I will remain stable, that I won't get worse, etc. etc. I've seen no research backing this up, but I don't dare mention it to her for fear of starting a fight. She thinks I'm freaking out over nothing. Yeah. Just because my headaches are getting more frequent, that I gave myself one the other day just by dancing at the computer...*sigh*

I'd pay for you to go to the doctor myself if I could. *hugs* :/
