Mmm...today...okay I guess. Finished watching Last of the Mohicans in English (sooo good), went to the Drama club meeting (eh, fun, but not worth the hour+ I was there), and finished reading To Tame a Highland Warrior, gotta love guilty little pleasures like that. Being forced to go to Pirates of the Carribean 2 (never finished watching the first one!) tomorrow since sis has a debate thing so we have time to kill, sigh.

Meh. It just didn't grab me. Don't get me wrong, I lurrve Johnny Depp, and as Capt. Jack Sparrow he was really quite funny, but the movie as a whole...meh. It's like Brokeback Mountain. Okay, the sentiment was sweet, bleh bleh, but the movie itself just didn't really grab me. *dives behind muses lest a rabid queenie lunge at her*

LMAO!!! No, sweetheart, I will not lunge at you. A surprising number of people on my f-list were disappointed at BBM, and for a variety of reasons. It was a rather complex love story. I liked POTC I, but POTC II didn't do that much for me, to be honest. But it's all worth it for the bisexual pirate-whore. ;)

*giggle*pervert! Well, BBM, there were parts of that I REALLY loved, but...I think it was the whole 'out of the blue-ness' of the first love scene between them that really threw it off for me. *shrug*

Yeah, the first love scene was so bizarre, I still don't get it. I mean, Ennis wakes up, acts like an angry homophobe, and then goes on to practically rape Jack. WTF, lol??
