Yes, I've always wondered why such a beautiful woman would want clown-orange hair. The deep red is lovely, but sometimes it's too bright.
As for the damage from dyeing, celebrities always have the best hair care and deep conditioners, so it seems strange that her hair would be allowed to be that damaged.
I think part of it might be that I know she started dyeing years before she became famous. Also, the stylist she had when she had the gorgeous hair died in...'01, '02, something like that, and right after that is when it turned orange.
