So, Bryan Fuller has officially confirmed Pushing Daisies' cancellation.

*sigh*

But there's still hope that another network might take it, or that it could get continued in comic book form, or...

But *sigh*

But hey, Twilight tonight! As long as I can get a ticket (since the theater here won't sell them in advance, grr).

But still...PD! *sobs*

I'm going to go kind of girlie here for a minute. This season has touched me a lot more than last season, and watching clips from last year has been more touching than it was before.

Why? Bri. I'm sure I'm not the only one who can see connections to LDRs in PD. Considering that just recently some person asked the LDR group I'm a member of if not having sex makes it hard...

But then you look at Chuck and Ned. They can't touch, but they're still as close as two people can be without becoming one.

And that just gives me hope. I guess as a writer I don't see them as people who aren't real. So...looking at these two people who have been dealt such a strange hand, and are obviously so devoted to each other and making it work...

*sighhh*

EDIT:

On November 17, 2008, Michael Ausiello reported that the recently filmed thirteenth episode could be the last for the series. ABC had given no indication that it planned to order additional installments to complete a full second season, despite the fact what might be the final episode ends with a "huge cliffhanger" involving a lead character, according to series creator Fuller

On November 20, 2008, ABC announced that the network would not be ordering additional season two episodes

Fuck you ABC. Why the fuck can't you let them finish up the season? Please? *growls*

Happier thing I've been thinking about. Well, kind of happier.

Something I haven't talked about much...mentioned it to Melody, but I think that's it.

I think once my chest is flat, I'll be more comfortable wearing girlie tops. Hell, even now that I'm binding I'm more comfortable wearing them.

I really don't know why. I always thought that gay boys could pull off girlie tops better than a lot of women.

I've just been thinking about it a lot lately because now that I have an effective method of binding, I'm tiring of the plaid button ups. I like them, but I'm going to bring some tinkerbell-pink-sparkly tops back with me when I come back from Thanksgiving break. I've just been catching myself in the mirror, and I'm not really comfortable with the butch look, at least not as often as I've been doing it out of necessity since I really only brought one or two girl tops with me.

Bleh.

Sooo, just got back from Twilight...if you've read the books, nothing's really a spoiler but still

Rants and Raves (mostly raves) )

I'm sure there's more. But overall...yeah, not perfect, but no book to movie ever is. They stayed faithful to the spirit, which some movies *cough*BloodandChocolate*cough* don't. What changes they did made sense.

Well worth the money, at least in my opinion.

Writer rant...

Gah. Why must I always lack B? A ---> C, D, E...but no B.

I hate that I have trouble writing 'chunks'. I can do it, if I have to, but I always have trouble getting everything together afterwards. So I like writing linearly. It helps me stay organized. So, lacking B is really annoying. Because, god, this scene is so fucking hot I want to write it. But before I can throw Celest and Maggie in bed together, I need to figure out how Maggie found out where Celest lives.

Grrr!
