So today...ummm...

In drama, the girl Ingalls and I were working was gone, so that proved interesting trying to rehearse without her, though we made it better...and umm, he tackled me in the revised version. Would have been rather nice to be under him without him grabbing my neck to do it ~_^ Rest of the day wasn't so great, as I'm still sick and have to finish a US History paper in a bit since a class came into use the library when I was a few minutes from finishing. Umm, went to the public library. Some movies I wanted weren't there but I got...

CDS

Bjork's Vespertine
Ani DiFranco's up up up up up up
Melissa Etheridge's Lucky and Your Little Secret
Sarah McLachlan's Touch

BOOKS
The Sandman Vol. 1
Neil Gaiman's Smoke and Mirrors (meant to grab Neverwhere but didn't look until we were in the car, *facepalm*)

Lord...I don't know if I'm glad I chose to listen to both of Melissa's albums tonight instead of setting Lucky aside for tomorrow or not...would have been more appropriate this morning, but...

"Tuesday Morning"

10:03 on a Tuesday morning
in the fall of an American dream
a man is doing what he knows is right
on flight 93

Loved his mom and he loved his dad
loved his home and he loved his man
but on that bloody Tuesday morning
he died and American

[chorus]
Now you cannot change this
You can't erase this
You can't pretend this is not the truth

Even though he could not marry
Or teach your children in our schools
Because who he wants to love
Is breaking your God's rules

He stood up on a Tuesday Morning
In the terror he was brave
And he made his choice and without a doubt
A hundred lives he must have saved

[chorus]

And the things you might take for granted
Your inalienable rights
Some might choose to deny him
Even though he gave his life

Can you live with yourself in the land of the free
And make him less of a hero than the other three
Well it might begin to change ya
In a field in Pennsylvania

[chorus]

Stand up America
Hear the bell now as it tolls
Wake up America
It's Tuesday Morning
Come on
Let's roll

[chorus]

Dear Alicia
Thank you for querying Kunati regarding your novel Put Away Your Dreams. I
apologize for the lengthy response time but we are inundated with
submissions. If you'd like to send a sample chapter I would be happy to read
it, but I do caution you that we are not actively seeking novels in the
romance genre. You can send a sample as a Word doc attachment by email.
Thanks again and I look forward to reading your work.
Sincerely
James McKinnon

Someone actually wants to see more! I mean, yeah, the odds aren't great. But they're better than what they were! Oh Goddess......
