Dear Alicia,
Thank you for letting us look at sample material from your book. We appreciate the time and creative energy you have put into your work. Your submission has been read by at least two of our members of our staff. I'm sorry to tell you that, after careful consideration, we have decided that your book does not meet our needs.

In a reply to [livejournal.com profile] bitexmarks to my last post, I wrote this

I keep reminding myself that F.X. Toole, who wrote the short story collection containing Million Dollar Baby recieved rejection letters for forty years before he finally got published.

Yep. Forty years, died two years after being published. But he kept fighting because he believed in his work. And I will do the same, because I believe.
