A tori amos quote, about her song 'Cooling'. God this woman has some of the BEST quotes ever.

So this little song um, is probably, she's one of my best friends of all the songs and, um, she just didn't want to be on any of the records. She was supposed to be on, um Pele and then she told me to fuck off and she uh, was supposed to be on Choirgirl, sort of kind of and then she said 'ya know, no'. And then uh, she decided she liked being played live so I play her a lot.

aye, which is why my muses and I are plotting to kidnap her and/or her muses, since every time I listen to her late at night I'm able to churn out a new chapter. if only I had as good a relationship with my muses as she does with hers without having to bribe them with her music.

muses often do need music to be lured out of their hiding place, mine seem to have a liking to Placebo and Him. *light shrug.*
as long as they help you write pretty words let them listen to whatever they want.

I especially love when she talks about her relationship with Robert Plant, and how he affected her sexuality when she was young.

reminded me I had this quote hidden away somewhere in my tori collection: When I was 10 I heard Robert Plant and wanted to give him my virginity. I thought it was like sharing peanut butter and jelly and holding hands!
