Feb. 22nd, 2005 04:50 pmNo one. If the girl was really ‘no one’, Beelzemon thought as he stood by the corner a week later, then why had she been there? Why had she known Tom’s name, said it in an almost loving manner until she saw what was going on? And, he wondered, why had she been crying?
The preppy little red car pulled up and Tom walked out, dressed in a dark blue suit and sunglasses. He looked around for a moment then tucked the glasses in his pocket, striding over to Bee and smirking.
“So you weren’t just a dream.”
“Save it.”
“I was just compli-“
“Just shut up and get on.”
Tom swallowed, nodding shakily and getting on the motorcycle. The disoriented feeling he’d had the other night came back again, though why he didn’t know. ‘Bee’ seemed to be just fine.
When they came to the house, Bee looked around for a moment. Tom caught his eyes and grinned.
“Don’t worry, that bitch isn’t around.”
Bee nodded and followed Tom inside.
“What’s her name?”
Tom gasped, clenching the mattress as Bee pounded into him.
“What?”
“That girl who was here the other night. What’s her name?”
Tom groaned loudly, incapable of saying a word for a few moments until he collapsed. When he felt Bee’s weight on top of him, he rolled over, panting.
“Why do you care?”
“Just curious.”
Tom sat up, lighting a cigarette.
“Amy.”
“Why was she here?”
“Just another member of my harem” he exhaled a large cloud of smoke, closing his eyes.
“I heard somewhere that you were married.”
“’Were’ is the key word. It’s over.”
“Oh.”
Tom crushed out his cigarette and rolled over, pressing his mouth against Bee’s shoulder. He trailed down to his waist, but just as he opened his mouth, there was a soft knock at the door.
“Goddamnit” Tom swore loudly. He stood up and threw the door open. Bee couldn’t see who was there, but he heard a soft, timid voice saying something. Then he heard Tom muttering something in an angry tone.
Tom strode back to the bed and started sorting through his clothes.
“Sorry about this mate. Got some business I need to take care of.”
Bee nodded. He thought he recognized the girl standing there, the ‘Amy’ from the other night, but he couldn’t be sure. By the time he was able to get a good look at her, she was looking at the ground and seemed to be shaking in fear. Bee kept looking at her, wondering what she was doing here and why she seemed so afraid. Then Tom was standing by her. He put his hand under her chin, jerking her head up. He seemed to say something to her and she nodded, chewing her lip. Then they both walked out of the room, and, before the door shut, Bee saw that Tom was holding his belt in his hand.
