I watched Secretary last night. Outside of a few little nitpicks, I think it was one of the best 'alternative lifestyle' films I've seen, and definitely the best het romance.

There is some more blather about how the S/M dynamic therein affected me personally, but for various reasons that's over at my transition journal (if you still want the link, PM me or some such). I'm thinking I'll need a few posts over there to talk about it accurately, which is part of the reason it's over there--might bore some of you after a point.

So, there's been some serious ponderings going on thanks to Secretary.

But I also went to town today, and got:

Amy Tan-The Joy Luck Club (have seen the film twice in school, looking forward to this)
A winter hat (any of you who know how giant my head is know what a hard time I have finding hats)
Some tea that is supposed to soothe PMS crazies (it smells good at any rate)
A pair of new-used jeans
A new-used black/silver pinstripe shirt
Lavender oil (for headaches)
