-AHH! Of course AO3 is being overloaded. Should have foreseen this. And I'm on dialup. ARGH.
-Logged in. Waiting for gift page to load....
-OMFG ERROR PAGE! WTF! Opening new browser; hoping this is just an AOL problem.
-Really wishing I hadn't already downed a pot of tea....
-Finally got to log in page. Logged in, then got cannot display error. Wondering how much of this is AO3 overload and how much is dialup.
-Looks like Archive has completely gone boom, judging by comments on the Yuletide comm. Time to snack on chocolate frosting (triple chocolate fudge chip, to be exact)
-Frosting gone; AO3 up....
-Gift page loading....(placing bet in my head that it's my VG request)
-Annnd AO3 is claiming it's still locked. Um. Blaming AOL; this happens sometimes; I get old versions of pages.
-This seems like a lot of pages to go through for my fic....
-AHH! It is my VG request! *clicks*

-Oh. My. God.

If you're in VG fandom at all READ THIS. It wasn't really what I was thinking when I sent the request. But it...it makes sense, and it breaks my heart in just the right way because of that.

*Mainly posted so I remember to leave a comment when the server is under less strain

I miss VG fandom so much. I miss being in a fandom with little wank. Now,I don't know if it was like this because by the time I got into it, it was pretty much on its last legs, or if it was always like that. But...yeah. I think it's part of the reason I'm not writing the Torchwood fics I have in mind these days. The fandom, urgh.
