Just realized the decision on Prop 8 will be out in less than an hour.

Praying for all GLBT couples and families in California who may have their marriages broken, or may not be allowed to get married at all.

*sigh*I wanted to be happy. I wanted to be happy when I read that the 18,000 marriages already performed are still valid. But...fuck.

I know it wasn't about the real issue of gay marriage as the California Supreme Court's ruling back in '08 was what made it legal in the first place, but how prop 8 came about. I know that. But...still.

And I watched a supremely sad episode of Torchwood today to boot. So all the sad and angry just hit hard. It's not fair. We already proved seperate but equal is bollocks, so why is it still being practiced?

*sigh*I think, to cheer myself up, I'm going to go read Janto smut. At least in Torchwood, it doesn't matter what's in the pants of the person you're snogging.
