I can't beleive I haven't squeeled about this yet. I downloaded Gackt's 'Seventh Night'. I haven't listened to all of it yet...mainly because the OMFGORGEOUSNESS! of acoustic Kimi No Tame Ni Dekiru Koto has distracted me.
Oh my gawd. I mean, Kimi No Tame... has always been one of my favorite Gackt songs. I think it's so sweet and beautiful, especially the video. (Mainly because I think it's one of Gackt's three or so love songs that don't involve one or other or both parties being dead) But somehow, stripped down, it's even more so.
And then there's that harmonica that shows up around the 2:50 mark. When it first popped up, I was like 'harmonica? WTF Gackt?'. I love harmonicas, but I just didn't think it work. But I sat back and trusted Gackt...and it makes it even more beautiful. I just get this image of the singer sitting on a porch with the person he's singing to, and it's lovely.
Or maybe I'm just hunting for fluff wherever I can find it.
