The pieces finally fit
Feb. 1st, 2009 09:54 amI just realized it's been quite awhile since I watched What Dreams May Come. I should do that the next time I go home (it's Mom's DVD). But, on the other hand, there's a good chance I'll end up bawling because...I thought, before, as a plain ol' romantic boi, I got it. Now...damn, I get it.
Chris Nielsen: I need Annie.
Albert: That'll change in time.
Chris Nielsen: Oh, come on Einstein! Time's not on my watch anymore. Time does not exist here. And wherever it went, it's not going to make me need Annie any less.
Chris Nielsen: Is that a kind of occupational hazard of soul mates? One's not much without the other?
Albert: Soul mates. It's extrememly rare but it exists. Sort of like twin souls tuning into each other. Apparently even in death.
Chris Nielsen: I forgive you.
Annie Nielsen: For killing my children and my sweet husband?
Chris Nielsen: For being so wonderful a guy would choose hell over heaven just to be around you.
Chris Nielsen: I need Annie.
