Finally found the video for What Matters, which was written for Matthew Shepard and was played during our production of Laramie Project. First time I've heard all of it since it was played at the end of the first half as we were walking off...god...



I fully encourage everyone to buy the single, as it supports a more than worthy cause. (I plan on doing so when I actually have money).
I just remember being at the Epiphanies and watching the slideshow for Laramie Project while this played, and that was in May so all I that was going through my tear-filled head was Bri...

Tommy Smothers received a commemorative writing achievement for his work on the cutting-edge and controversial "The Smothers Brothers Comedy Hour" from the late '60s — and turned serious.

"It's hard for me to stay silent when I keep hearing that peace is only attainable through war. And there's nothing more scary than watching ignorance in action," he said, dedicating his award to "all people who feel compelled to speak out, and are not afraid to speak to power, and won't shut up and refuse to be silenced."
