Feb. 24th, 2008 12:20 amOkay, so we opened Thursday night, closed tonight. Had a bomb threat Thursday, nothing since. Tonight was...my god.
We had two shows today, a matinee and a late. Before the matinee, someone from the Matthew Shepard Foundation came and showed us this DVD about Matt and the foundation. The whole cast was crying because it had pictures of Matt and...God I still don't have words. We had discussion panels after today's shows. During the first one, I told about how I'd be harassed in middle school and I shook so bad. Our narrator collapsed at the first show on her way offstage because she was crying so hard. This guy I have a bad history with (he teased me freshman year) was crying during the discussion, telling how Drama and esp. this show changed him. It was...I'm glad it's over, but at the same time I'm going to miss it.
I really hope that Matthew is proud of us and what we did.

Unrelated kind of. Chris...took me most of the way home, but their car freaked out going up the first hill (as in, we almost crashed), so I had to walk the rest of the way. Walking up my road on a winter's night, alone, after doing Larmie...it was hard, but also inspiring.
Yeah, homework catch up tomorrow. Wee, bleh.
