I hate writer's block. Particularly when I can see where the story should be going, but can't make it go there *sigh*

On a good note, Lyra is an extremely beautiful song.

Her soul walks beside her
An army walks behind her
Lyra, Lyra
And her face, full of grace
Two worlds collide around her
The truth lies deep inside her
Lyra, Lyra
And the stars look down upon her
As darkness settles on her
Lyra, Lyra

Finished reading The Golden Compass a bit ago. Wow. I'll definitely have to read the other two books now. Problem: now I really can't decide what movie I want to see over Christmas: The Golden Compass, Enchanted, or August Rush *sighh*

Lyra is still stunningly beautiful. DH is on in half an hour. Maybe the two combined will break my block

Desperate Housewives...

I am very happy with where Lynnie's storyline is going. Bree's made me happy and giggly. I don't give a frig about Gabbie anymore, honestly, haven't cared about her since last season at least.

However.

If what was hinted at in the end/preview for next time, in regards to Susan and Mike, actually happens, I will hunt down Marc Cherry and do unspeakable things to him. Seriously, why must that man keep fucking with Susan's love life?

This totally made my night. From an interview with Anna Friel and Lee Pace (Chuck and Ned from Pushing Daisies)

Q: Could your characters ever have sex, other than in a dream or fantasy sequence?
Friel:
Unless they invent a giant body condom, I don't think they're going to anytime soon.

And now I can't get the image of Ned in a giant body condom out of my head *giggles*
