So, funness. Our internet is going nuts at home, hopefully it'll be fixed when I get back from the Drama club meeting tonight (yippie!). During lulls yesterday, I began doing some 'reconstructive work' on PAYD, figuring out whhat changes need to be made. I ended up writing four pages (about 1,000 words) last night, a nice new scene that I'm pretty happy with. Reading Jodi Picoult's Picture Perfect (started right after I finished Maximum Ride, about half way through right now) has really been helping, as Alex is closer to what I wanted Taylor to be than how Taylor is in the current draft of PAYD. So, as soon as our home internet is working, I'll send the new scene to [livejournal.com profile] safilix_shark for approval, then let the rest of you see. Maybe. ~_^

Home now, and the computer I've been asking mom to set up for months is now the internet computer *sigh* so I'll be working at getting things on this transferred soon. Umm, just got back from the Drama Club meeting. We found out the shows we're putting on.

We're putting on the fucking LARAMIE PROJECT!!!! Shows were introduced through a slideshow, with pics/text giving intial hints, and I swear, the instant that they had a picture of Wyoming with the text saying something like how Matthew (not using his name) was killed for being different, I knew and, honest to God, I started to cry. I don't care if I'm just an usher, I'm going to be involved with that production.

Also, I won points with my Myth and Symobl teacher for recognizing a Melissa Etheridge song ~_^

And gym still sucks, big surprise.

Sadness, Madeline L'Engle is dead.

I never read all of the Murray books, only the first four, and the Christan slant sometimes irritated me, but they were still good books and she was very talented. *should go read them again now...maybe I'll be able to handle reading the rest now that I'm older, hmm...*
