So the anniversary of Aaron's death is in eight days *sigh*I realized it changed me a bit more than a thought last night. I was filling out one of those surveys everyone posts, and one question was 'if you could bring back anyone who has passed, who would it be?'. In the past I would've said something like Janis Joplin or Oscar Wilde. Last nght, I said Aaron. *sigh*

EEEEK!

Just randomly looked at Merrit Malloy's website, which hadn't been updated since 2005....

Apr 19, 2007
An announcement from MM that after many years of being encouraged to do so, she is now actively initiating and forming a major publishing group, which will include traditional publishing as well as online editions of her new work. She will also be publishing many other well known writers as well and will shortly issue a press release on the details. She is currently setting up the logistics and hiring a small editorial staff to facilitate the first season of material. She is underwriting much of this herself but has now completed a comprehensive business plan and is actively looking for investors. As such, she has requested that I invite any one of you who might be interested in joining her to contact her at the following email address merritmalloy@yahoo.com Nothing has changed. Merrit is still available for miracles.

YESSS! More Merrit! Maybe this means that the website will finally follow through on the promise to offer digital versions of her out of print works! Maybe.

Dad bought me The Libertine, which I've been wanting to see for awhile. I'll probably watch it after I'm done downloading Windows Live Messenger for like the fourth time *snort*. And [livejournal.com profile] spacequeen, if you see this, hopefully I'll get back to the C/M after school winds down, just thought of it for the first time in awhile.

EDIT: Just finished watching The Libertine. Quite good. Johnny Depp is such a great actor.

On the days when I want to write but can't

and I wonder why I even try

because the book's not selling and probably never will

so what's the point of it all

I put on Kinder Blues

and I remember.

*SIGHHHHH*

A bulletin I just posted on MySpace

I think I've decided to do things completely differently. Due to Lulu being a bitch about allowing people access to mature works, I'm thinking of restricting purchase of the book to myself again, buying them free (as lulu lets me set the price at zero) and selling them myself. I'll let you all know how to do this if the plan works out.

Yeah. We'll see if the parents will go along with this (since, at least for the next year, I'd be running the operation out of their house).

And I got absoultely no homework done today. Wonderful.
