First some kind of seriousness: I wrote the prologue/outline of my story this morning. I'm saying prologue/outline because I think I revealed a bit too much for it to be a prologue, so we'll say outline since I had to write it down fast before I lost it. The title means 'soulmate' in Irish Gaelic.

Shonuachar

My name is Kellan Duana, or at least that’s what you can call me. Names have long since lost meaning to me. I am descended from a great race, the Tuatha De Danann-people of the Goddess Danu.

I doubt you will have heard of me. I expected as much, few have. It is not because I am a woman-my father’s race was that of a Goddess, after all.

It is not just because I lack as much power as my relatives, for I do have some magic and I am ancient. Time lost meaning for me along with the name I was given at birth.

No, I am not in the history books and ‘faerie tales’ not because I am female or because I lack magic, for I don’t. I am hardly mentioned because, according to many in my ‘family’ I am not one of them.

My father is Abhean, the harper of the Tuatha. But my mother was a mortal woman, a warrior queen, but still mortal. That matter could have been overlooked, and indeed it was, as I was raised solely by my father and the rest of the Tuatha. But then I lost my standing completely.

Why? I repeated my father’s mistake. I fell in love with a mortal. And even when they all said he was lost to me, I followed him.

But that was much, much later. I should start you at the beginning. Not my beginning, but ours.

Now for something completely different ~_^ some of these are funny, some are just...erm...
