Opened presents today. Here's the list...

Tori Amos 12-CD Bootleg Boxset.

I almost have the money to afford this. Buying it would, however, virtually wipe out my Tori Tickets Fund. So, question is...indulge myself with these concerts, or hoard my money until 2007 so I can see her myself?

*whimper*

I had meant to post this before, but....

Baby penguin stolen

This makes me so sad. As I stated to the family when I heard about it on the news 'I hope Opus (the penguin from the comic Bloom County) finds whoever did this and mistakes their brain for pickled herring!'

I usually hate 80's pop in general. The exception until now was Tori's work with Y Kant Tori Read. Now I'm adding Christine McVie. I'm in the process of downloading her 1984 album from iTunes (3 songs left!) and I'm in love. Yeah, it's bubblegum. But her voice, mmmmm. I love nice rich alto voices Also the keyboard work is delicious. It's very different from her latest release, In The Meantime (which was my first real exposure to her work) but it's still yummy. Just had to share.

Looking through the [livejournal.com profile] christinemcvie community to see if it's actually active (really wasn't except for a spurt of activity when In The Meantime was released, which I guess isn't suprising), and there's this post asking people to list their five favorite Christine songs. I go to the comments to get the names of more of her songs, and I come upon this comment...

hey guys if your a songwriter or a poet, you might wanna check out this forum.. www.writeit.tk its the coolest forum ever, all u do is critique n post ur songs or poems, if u have ne questions on songwritin or poetry we will help u answer it! take a look at it i hope u join us!! take care, isabella

All right, you're pimping a poets/songwriters forum, and you use netspeak, don't use proper capitlization/puncuation AND you can't get your homophones/homonyms correct. *facepalm*
