(no subject)

Back from school, yay!

Well last night a mild thunderstorm somehow blew out our modem, so I'm using the old computer. Okay, and mum installed Imesh on it. But we have no sound, so I can't make sure the files I'm downloading are what they claim to be. Also I've been reminded of how slow Imesh makes stuff, and I have to use the web-based msn knockoff because it would take too much to install the newest version of messenger. The new modem should arrive in a few days, it sounds too long.

Yay! A new Richard Paul Evans book is coming out! Of course, it'll be awhile before I get my hands on it, since the only work I've read of his has been through the school and I'm pretty sure they don't have it on order, but still! Reading the synopsis and seeing the bit of religion on it, I've realized my attraction to his work in a way is like my attraction to Tori (I got into him shortly before buying Pele if I recall). He doesn't slam you with religion, though he doesn't mock the church in the way Tori does. He just sort of sprinkles it in (except with A Perfect Day, if you've read it you know what I'm referring to). Still, I'm excited. He's the only (straight) guy I've found who can write REALLY good romance, The Last Promise swooon.
