God...I hate my fucking dog. She killed a chick. One got into her yard, we didn't notice until it was too late. And when dad ran in, she ran out the gate and...I mean, this is the dog who dragged me on my belly when I took her for a walk, but I tackled her. I had to watch dad yell at her and jerk her around a bit, but it wasn't like he beat her. She needs to know she shouldn't kill chickens, but it's too late. She got a taste for blood years ago. God-fucking-dammit. My sister's crying, the only time she ever cries is when animals die. And all I've got is roadburn on my knees.
