i almost bought a tori amos cd! it was used for only 4.99 but then it had only 3 tracks so i was like hell no! haha! i want to get a tori cd or two but i'm not sure which ones to get so if you HAD TO PICK just 2 tori amos cds, which ones would you pick???? i need some tori in my CD collection!!
Oh my god, if I HAD to!? Okay...Boys For Pele and Scarlet's Walk. Pele was my first album, really damn good and angry and rawr. Scarlet explores her more spirtual native american side very beautifully, not a single bad song on that.
I own every album except for Little Earthquakes, and I've heard every song off that except for China and the studio version of Girl. And I can see why you'd get Beekeeper and Scarlet, they're the newest. Beekeeper's pretty good. It was my second album. A lot of people hate it, but...it's different. Get that and Pele and you get to see her whole range. I think she said Scarlet and Beekeeper kind of 'go together' in that Scarlet is her Native American heritage and The Beekeeper is more the Christian woman inside her. Something like that ~_^
:) i like that. albums that go together. for bjork, vespertine and homogenic go togehter as vespertine (my favorite bjork album next to selmasongs) is a quiet, lovely album and homogenic is loud and crazy... :p
I just thought of something...that first cd with only three songs was probably a single, meaning probably rare. I only own two singles myself. There's usually hard-to-find stuff on the singles (though she's releasing a rarities box with most of the single tracks in September)
If you did buy it, you'd have to tell me which one it was before you sold it. 'Cause if its one I don't have (prob. is) then you'd have to be nice and give it to me cheap ~_^
Oh yesss. I want the rarities box sooo bad. 50 odd bucks though (huff). I also want the offical bootlegs, but all of them together is close to a hundred bucks.
