Your mentor and fan, David Bowie is not only a musician, but an actor. What does he think of it?

Oh God, he hates the flick. He really loathes Velvet Goldmine. Let's put it this way, Velvet Goldmine is a subject Placebo and Bowie, errrr, hardly discuss. We just avoid talking about it.

Maybe that's why I didn't listen to Bowie so much after seeing VG....not consiously or anything, I just drifted from him. Hmm...yes I'm being a lj-whore right now, it takes my mind of the icky.

I love Bowie. He's talented, sexy, brilliant, ground-breaking, unique, charismatic, etc. etc. However, his constant recanting of statements he made in the 70's makes me not really pay attention to anything he says now. Also, his treatment of Angela is really unforgivable. Just my 2 cents. ;)
