I know a lot of people who are married/partnered beofre starting transition fear going through with it because of the chance of losing that partner. And while not all partnerships can handle it, be it the sexual orientation of the cisgendered partner or whatever...many can and do. And despite the fact that this song is about other things entirely, as a pre-transition trannyboi I find it really touching.

More reason for no one to trust my gaydar

Mother asked me toinght if I'd heard that Cat Cora (of Iron Chef America) and her partner were both pregnant. I said that I had no idea the woman was queer.

You'd think after the deal with Bri I'd be better at it, but no. I may be as queer as a, openly so for about six years, but I still can't spot a three dollar bill.

In an open room that echoes well...

I'm at almost 8,000 words (I believe 7,778) on the as yet unnamed project. Gah, title. Titles are usually pretty easy for me. A project typically gets named long before this point. So that's annoying. But I'm still really happy. I know that these pieces won't go together easily, due to narrative shifts (not to mention some plotholes, gah), but it'll get there. I haven't found the end yet--but that doesn't bother me due to the nature of the main characters. I've had to do a little research, but not enough to bog me down.

Yeah, I'm happy. I think I might stay up late with a cup of tea to get some more work done, I've unearthed a few things in the last half hour that are quite pleasing.
