Okay, I just got done listening to The Sin Eaters (love), and was wondering, other TW-nuts: which of the books/audiobooks are actually worth seeking out? (I already know I'm not going anywhere near Almost Perfect)

I would've said Almost Perfect. Well, I do think it's the best one, but I also thought The House That Jack Built was very good. I highly recommend you not read "Bay of the Dead", by far the worst, IMO.

I've heard from a few places Almost Perfect has some horrid gender!fail, hence why I'm staying away. *shrug*

I don't know about that. I think it was cheezy, and you have to enjoy on a cheezy level, and then it's fun. If you take it as srs bzns Torchwood, I think you'd be disappointed.
