StrangeLittleBoys

Listening to the original versions of the songs Tori did on StrangeLittleGirls. I'd already heard a few, so here's opinions...

-I much prefer the originals of Enjoy the Silence, I Don't Like Mondays and Happiness Is a Warm Gun.

-Tori's version of '97 Bonnie & Clyde is MUCH better than the original.

-You can't really compare Velvet Underground and Tori's version of New Age, since T's was based on a bootleg version that is lyrically very different from the finished product. The only similarity is the chorus and the very end.

-I prefer Tori's version of Heart of Gold vocally because I hate Neil Young's voice, but otherwise I like his more.

-Both versions of After All are incredibly beautiful and haunting.

-Both versions of Strange Little Girl are really cool, though I like Tori's a touch more since it sounds better faster.

-Tori's version of Rattlesnakes is better because I find it to have much more emotion, same with her versions of I'm Not In Love and Time.

-Even though I have trouble understanding the words in both versions, I definitely prefer Tori's version of Raining Blood because it doesn't make my ears bleed.

-Despite how pretty her version is, I have to say I prefer the original of Only Women Bleed because Tori's is just a touch too slow. Also she removed a verse, and that lost her points (just like on her version of I Don't Like Mondays)

-It's hard to make a call on Real Men, but being forced I'll say I prefer Joe Jackson's just because that song does sound slightly better coming from a man.
