Woo today was good. I bought:

AUDIO TAPES:
Billy Joel: River of Dreams
Melissa Etheridge: Brave and Crazy
Pipes of Scotland Vol. 1

CDs:
Tori Amos: Little Earthquakes (FINALLY!)

Books:
Henry James: Portrait of a Lady
John Steinbeck: Of Mice and Men
Rod McKuen: Listen to the Warm (YAY!)

So far, I've only listened to a few songs on LE (batteries on my portable CD player died) but...ooh! I'd heard most of them in some form already, but I def. prefer the LE orginal versions of certain songs to the Tales of a Librarian remasters. And Listen to the Warm...so happy to have that. Now I don't have to check it out from the library several times a year! However, I now need to track down my copy of Stanyan Street and Other Sorrows again..huff.

And it only took me about a year and a half to collect all that! Now, I have to start working on mum to order the singles. Even if most of the bees will be coming to us on the rarities box, I want the actual singles 'cause I'm a completionist. That, and I wanna see the Glory of the 80's vid from the Concertina single since it isn't on Fade to Red (which I really, really want).

Oooh just remembered, I actually have two editions of Boys For Pele. One, the now standard US release with the crappy Tornado Mix of Talula, and a rerelase (at least I think that's what it is, not sure) of the original version with the ORIGINAL (good) version of Talula. Wee ha.
